Badge 503 is a fund Agape Service Foundation, Inc. was started to help sworn Law Enforcement and Correctional Officers. In Kentucky, Officers in both Law Enforcement and Correctional roles are not well paid. Some have to work a second job and others struggle to pay basic bills. That is where Badge 503 comes in. Simply, we want to help our heroes. The path they walk is dangerous, the calling they answer is difficult. Those men and women face more than we can ever imagine. They deserve our help.
503 was the Badge Number for Matthew Humble, Police Chief for Guthrie, Kentucky. Matthew Humble was the youngest son of Mike and Janice Humble. On October 17, 2018, Matthew died at the age of 37 after a short fight against an agressive form of liver cancer. This fund is named in his memory.
